How can I view available research projects?

The NHRSP allows you to explore the title and type of accessible research projects, if you require further details about a specific project or would like to request a dataset, you must login if you are an existing user or register as a new user.

How can I register in the portal?

Once you submit your registration information, a verification link will be sent to your email to verify your registration and activate your account.

How can I request dataset access?

1. Click details for the research project that you are interested in to view all available information.
2. Click request data to start a new request. Please complete all mandatory information and attach the required supporting documents. Please note that the current Version of NHRSP Does Not AutoSave the information. You should save your work at regular intervals; you must save your data to complete the request later.
3. Once your request is completed and all supporting documents are attached, you can submit your request.

What are the required supporting documents for data requests?

The following supporting document must be submitted with your request:

1. Data requester CV
2. Research proposal
3. The IRB Approval                       
4. Data User Agreement dated and signed. (data user agreement can be downloaded from the data request page, please sign and date the agreement and re-upload it with your request)

How long will it take to process my request?

1. The current process time for requests is five working days.
2. You will receive a notification email about the status of your request.
3. If your request is incomplete or requires further information you will receive a notification email, please login to your account to edit and resubmit your request.

How can I receive the requested data?

Once the request is approved, you will receive a notification email, please login to your account to download the data file, please note that the data file will be available in your account for 14 working days only.

How can I upload a dataset?

1. Click on Research Projects, then on sub-menu Upload Research Project.
2. Please complete all mandatory information and attach the required supporting documents. Please note that the current Version of NHRSP NHRSP Does Not AutoSave the information. You should save your work at regular intervals; you must save your data to complete the request later.
3. Once your request is completed and all supporting documents are attached, you can submit your data upload request.

3.2 What are the required supporting documents?

The following supporting document must be submitted with your request:

1. Approved Proposal (if applicable)
2. Data Collection Tool.
3. Report.
4. Study Data.
5. Code Book.
6. Data Sharing Agreement dated and signed 

Data sharing agreement can be downloaded from the NHRSP, please sign and date the agreement and re-upload it with your request.

3.3 How long will it take to process my request?

The process time will depend on the nature of the project/uploaded dataset. You will receive an estimation of the required process time within 7 working days.
